ILEGAL MEZCAL — FIESTA ILEGAL
Commissioned by Ordenador for Ilegal Mezcal, MM Estudio developed the design direction, initial spatial design and layout, graphic direction, 3D modelling and visualisation for Fiesta Ilegal.
The proposal transformed the original venue into an industrial night-time environment articulated through a central lighting installation, a high-impact stage, customisation areas, a photo moment and an atmosphere defined by red light, metal mesh and the brand's graphic symbols.
When the project moved to a different venue, MM's original design became the visual and spatial framework that guided its adaptation and final production by Ordenador, with Héctor Carrera as Producer.

A Spatial System Designed to Activate the Entire Venue.
MM Estudio organised the original venue through a central suspended lighting installation, a stage with a strong visual presence and a sequence of social and brand-driven moments. The proposal established clear spatial hierarchies while allowing light, graphics and performance to connect the different levels of the event.
The Cross as Stage, Symbol and Source of Light.
The stage translated one of Ilegal Mezcal's most recognisable symbols into the central scenic and lighting gesture. Metal mesh, red illumination and graphic contrast established a raw visual frame for performance and nightlife.
The Identity Extended Beyond the Stage.
The original proposal expanded the event language into customisation, photography and exterior projection moments. Each intervention used light, material and recognisable brand symbols to create different forms of interaction within the same visual system.
A Design Framework Carried into a New Venue.
Although the event moved to a different venue, the final environment retained the central principles of MM's proposal: red light, exposed metal, graphic contrast, the illuminated cross and a strong relationship between stage, audience and atmosphere. The photographs document Ordenador's production and adaptation of that framework.
