Release Party de Natanael Cano Vol. 1
Escala Show commissioned MM Estudio to develop the scenic dune for Release Party de Natanael Cano Vol. 1 at Pepsi Center. Working from the project team’s established creative concept, we designed the terrain and its integration with the truss box, developed production-facing base criteria, and produced renders and an animation to visualise the complete scene with the supplied lighting design.
Brief received on 17 July 2026. Event held on 27 August 2026. A 41-day calendar from the initial commission to the live event.

A Dune Around the Reveal
The creative premise brought together Sonora’s landscape and Natanael’s passion for sports cars. MM’s task was to design a dune that could incorporate the box before the vehicle reveal. San Nicolás references and modelling studies informed the exploration of contours, slopes and volume relationships.

Developing the Terrain
Following several studies, the team agreed to position the box at the rear and integrate it within a plateau-like volume. We developed the terrain and base mesh, worked on the surface texture in ZBrush and added desert vegetation to the model.

Production Criteria
We prepared a Layher modular-base proposal with module layouts, support levels and sections related to the dune profile. The documentation provided a reference for developing the support beneath the sculpted scenic volume.

Visualising the Complete Scene
Using the lighting design supplied by the team, we integrated the dune into the scene and produced a render package. The views showed the relationship between terrain, performer, vehicle and lighting atmospheres before the event.

Previsualising the Reveal
An animation test communicated the central moment of the proposal: the vehicle reveal above the dune. Event photography records the moment as realised within the complete stage environment.

The Landscape on Stage
The built dune carried the character of the landscape developed by MM into the live setting, alongside the performance, lighting and vehicle reveal.
